Yesterday, California broke a record with a total of 7,400 hospitalizations, which has increased to another record of 7,787 persons today. • It is projected that most areas of California will run out of ICU beds in the next 2-4 weeks. We anticipate more restrictive measures may be ordered by the Governor this week in light of the worsening situation throughout the state regarding hospital bed availability, especially the shortage of ICU beds. • Hospitals in Douglas County, Carson City, and Reno are similarly stressed with dramatic surges. • Alpine County has been assigned to the RED TIER.
