We wanted to make sure you knew the best way to find the resources available and to reach your Common Council member. Here is some helpful information: - Who is at risk? The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) says that the following groups are higher at risk: people 65 years and older, people of all ages with underlying medical conditions, particularly if not well controlled, including people with the following issues: chronic lung disease or moderate to severe asthma, serious heart conditions, people who are immunocompromised, diabetes, people with chronic kidney disease undergoing dialysis, people with liver disease o More information is available online here: ncov/need-extra-precautions/people-at-higher-risk.html - What are the The COVID-19 virus affects different people in different ways. Most infected people will develop mild to moderate o Common fever, tiredness, dry cough. o Some people may experience: aches and pains, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, diarrhea. ---PAGE BREAK--- o On average it takes 5–6 days from when someone is infected with the virus for to show, however it can take up to 14 days. o More information is available online here: - If I have or have been around someone that has COVID19, how can I get a test? o Yes, you have to call ahead for all locations.
