RFP 2020-39 ADDENDUM #1 December 9, 2020 The following information is provided as a result of question(s) posed by vendor(s): QUESTION 1: I am not clear on the scope of work. It said provide a full write up and cost estimate for 4 vacant buildings found within the city of Albany within 2 months of contract execution. I need to know the conditions, size, location, and what need to be done. For example complete new roof, 2 complete bathroom, etc. I would think everyone (house) is different in terms of what has to be done. Please advise. ANSWER 1: We are looking for a contractor to provide us with a scope of work for the four yet to be determined vacant buildings. We are not looking for a contractor to perform any direct work on those buildings. After the contract has been completed, we will tell the selected contractor which four buildings we are looking for scopes of work to be drafted for, and give that contractor access to the buildings to determine the existing condition and what work would need to be done to bring the building to minimum standards. As stated in Section 4.1 of the RFP, "Proposer(s) shall be responsible for providing the following services to the City: A. Provide a full work write-up and cost estimate of four vacant buildings found within the City of Albany within two months of contract execution."
