Be A Solution To Water Pollution! What Is Water Pollution? Water pollution is the contamination of water bodies (e.g. lakes, rivers, oceans, aquifers and groundwater). Water pollution occurs when pollutants are directly or indirectly discharged into water bodies without adequate treatment to get rid of harmful compounds. Pollutants get into water mainly by human causes or human factors. Water pollution is any change or modification in the physical, chemical and biological properties of water that has a detrimental consequence on living things. What Can You Do?
