RFP 2020-26 ADDENDUM #1 September 28, 2020 The following information is provided as a result of question(s) posed by vendor(s): QUESTION Ideally when would you want the pilot program to begin? ANSWER Ideally we’d like to start as soon as possible. We’re very eager to get our program off the ground and running. QUESTION Do you have a location selected for classroom training? ANSWER We have two conference spaces in our building at 200 Henry Johnson Boulevard that work well for classroom training. Proposers should also discuss how they would adapt classroom training in the event of a COVID-19 outbreak or related shutdown. QUESTION "Mapping" is mentioned in the RFP. Could you clarify what you mean by mapping. The reason I ask is because drone pilots can do "relative accuracy" mapping. However, if it's for measuring boundaries or legal records and such it needs to be stamped by a NYS surveyor. And that's a different SOW. ANSWER Mapping is not intended to mean services for measuring boundaries or legal records. One of the tasks we are looking to use drones for is to create rough maps of rooftop conditions of buildings throughout the City of Albany.
