Superintendent Kaweeda G. Adams has worked in the City School District of Albany for four years. During her tenure, Superintendent Adams has brought an enhancement to implementing the best research-based instructional practices, which incorporate high cognitive demand, student engagement and real-world connections to promote student success. Being part of the City of Albany Policing Collaborative is an opportunity to gain an understanding of the protocols that currently exist and examine and implement positive research-based strategies to enhance police-community relationships.
