RFP 2020-39 ADDENDUM #3 January 11, 2021 The following information is provided as a result of question(s) posed by vendor(s): QUESTION 1: At our Proposal Team Review this morning it became apparent that Addendum No.1 that was issued by the City (attached hereto) was causing much confusion. While the Addendum No. 1 is references 2020-39, it appears that this Addendum is related to RFP 2020-40 as the language of 4.1 doesn’t match/relate to RFP 2020-39 Paragraph 4.1. ANSWER 1: Question 1 found in Addendum #1 dated December 9, 2020, requests more information with respect to each of the four vacant buildings referenced in the RFP. While the answer to Question 1 does quote Paragraph 4.1 of RFP 2020-40, the first part of the answer does apply to this RFP in that the City expects proposals in response to this RFP to indicate the cost or hourly rate of a proposer to determine the existing condition of each of the four buildings; and advise as to the work to be conducted to bring the building into minimum compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations. QUESTION 2: Please provide some general guidance relative to the type building we will be assessing. For example: are they two story residences or 30 story office buildings; type construction; extent of assessment required; etc. Without some general guidance it will be difficult for bidders to be on a level playing field. ANSWER 2: The estimated size of the four buildings altogether is 8,702 square feet. Each building is a 1-2 family residential vacant building. Each building is expected to be demolition- ready but the condition is otherwise unknown at this time. QUESTION 3: Is our proposal bid to reflect a “per” building cost relative to demolition and evaluation or a total for 4 buildings (demolition and evaluation)? ANSWER 3: The City is interested in a cost proposal for the work completed on all four buildings, but will accept a per-building cost from Proposer(s) if that more correctly fits with the Proposer(s)'s business model.
