In an attempt to enhance participation, transparency, and efficiency our future meetings will have: A new mechanism for providing public comment. Constituents can now leave live comments on our new public comment line at [PHONE REDACTED] All submitted written comments continue being shared with Common Council Members. If you would like to provide a written comment please email them to [EMAIL REDACTED] or submit them using the digital form on our webpage The public is encouraged to sign up for public comment during the sign-up period which will close at 4:00pm for general meetings and 3:00pm for committee meetings. Anyone interested in signing up to speak live during our Zoom session should email us at [EMAIL REDACTED] Meetings will continue to be live streamed on either Facebook or YouTube Legislative updates and meeting notice will be available at The Common Council values transparency and is dedicated to continuing governance during the re- opening of New York State. We are examining the best ways to ensure our meetings are available and we can hear from the public while minimizing the spread of COVID19. We also recognize and appreciate the efforts of Albany County Executive Dan McCoy, and county departments for the work they are doing on behalf of the public health and our communities. We will continue to partner with state and local officials and community leaders to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of our constituents are a top priority.
