Albany was awarded $ 540,000 over 3 years to serve justice involved citizens between ages 18-24 to provide job placement and supportive services 2019 STATE OF THE CITY MAYOR KATHY SHEEHAN 14 ---PAGE BREAK--- CONNECTING PEOPLE TO JOBS AND WORKFORCE TRAINING • The Department’s MBSK/WIOA Academy has developed two new career pathways: Pre-Construction and Health Care • Pre-Construction Academy - DYWS has partnered with Gateway – Rebuild the City Training Center to provide residential and commercial apprenticeship program to equip young people ages 18-25 with life-training and specific job skills in the construction trades.
